Be QUICK! Henry Smith Foundation Launches New Domestic Abuse Fund for UK
The Henry Smith Foundation (formerly the Henry Smith Charity) has launched its new Domestic Abuse Fund as part of its updated strategy, Elevate Your Impact (2025–2030). This is part of the Foundation’s Safer Futures funding priority, which supports services that help people rebuild their lives after abuse, displacement, or prison.
About the Fund
The fund is designed for groups deeply rooted in their communities that provide person-centred, holistic support for people from marginalised and minoritised communities who have experienced domestic abuse.
Eligibility
- Formally registered, not-for-profit organisations with a charitable purpose.
- Led-by-and-for marginalised and minoritised communities.
- Minimum of three years’ experience delivering specialist domestic abuse support.
- No income threshold – organisations of all sizes may apply.
Grant Details
Grant size: £250,000 over five years (£50,000 per year).
Funding can be used for running costs or project costs.
Application Timeline
- Webinar: 12 August 2025 (13:00–14:00) – Registration required.
- Expressions of Interest open: 13 August 2025.
- Deadline: 10 September 2025 (17:00).
