Supporting Brain Health Across East Riding: Free Drop-In Sessions
Are you part of a voluntary, community, or social enterprise (VCSE) organisation supporting individuals affected by dementia or concerned about brain health? The Alzheimer’s Society is offering free, friendly, and informative drop-in sessions across East Riding — and they’re open to anyone seeking advice, support, or simply a listening ear.
These sessions are ideal for volunteers, carers, and community members who want to learn more about dementia, brain health, and the support available locally. No appointment is needed — just pop in!

- Haltemprice Leisure Centre, Anlaby
Second Monday of the month, 10am – 1pm - Cottingham Library
Last Thursday of the month, 10am – 1pm - Hedon Methodist Church Community Hub
First Tuesday of the month, 10am – 12noon - Driffield Library and Customer Services Centre
Third Thursday of the month, 10am – 12noon - Brain Health Café at Humber Wellbeing Hub, Hessle
Special dates: 30 July, 13 August, 10 September, 8 October, 5 November, 17 December — all 10am – 12noon

These sessions offer a safe space to ask questions, share concerns, and connect with others who understand the challenges of living with or supporting someone with dementia. Whether you're a volunteer, a community worker, or simply someone who cares — your presence matters.
