ScottishPower Foundation Invites UK Applications for Funding in 2026 (18 July Deadline)
ScottishPower Foundation – 2026 Grants Now Open for UK Charities
The ScottishPower Foundation is inviting applications from UK registered charities for its 2026 funding round. Grants of between £35,000 and £150,000 are available for one-year projects that support the Foundation’s strategic aims.
Who Can Apply?
Applications are open to UK registered charities with an annual income between £75,000 and £10 million. Projects must be delivered within a 12-month period, starting between 31 March 2026 and 31 December 2026.
Funding Focus Areas
Applicants must align with at least one of the following specific objectives within the Foundation’s four strategic themes:
1. Education, Training and Research
- STEM: Inspire young people to pursue qualifications and careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics to advance energy sustainability.
- Raising Aspirations: Apply innovative education solutions to meet societal needs and empower the next generation.
2. Biodiversity and Climate Change
- Environmental Protection: Projects that protect and enhance the natural environment.
- Habitat Conservation: Work that preserves habitats and enhances biodiversity.
- Research and Knowledge: Developing innovative responses to climate change.
3. Art and Culture
- Restoration and Conservation: Protecting artistic and cultural heritage.
- Cultural Initiatives: Projects celebrating diversity and cultural identity through the arts.
4. Social Initiatives
- Economic Security: Promoting inclusion and reducing poverty, especially child and in-work poverty.
- Economic Opportunity: Supporting entrepreneurship and skills development, especially for women and those with disabilities or serious illnesses.
Projects must also support at least one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
What the Grant Can Fund
Funding is provided for project-specific costs only, which may include salaries directly related to delivery. Unrestricted or core operational funding is not eligible.
