VCSE
Tech4Youth Programme

Not having a laptop at home can hold young people back – from doing schoolwork to applying for jobs or learning digital skills. The Digital Poverty Alliance (DPA), in partnership with Arqiva, is working to change that through its Tech4Youth programme.

Applications are now open for young people aged 11 to 19 living in eligible postcodes along the Yorkshire Coast. Successful applicants will receive a free laptop to keep, along with support for internet access and digital skills.

“We know a device can make a big difference – not just in education, but in confidence and opportunity too.”
– Elizabeth Anderson, CEO, Digital Poverty Alliance

Young people aged 16+ can apply themselves. Parents or carers must apply for those under 16. All applications need to be confirmed by a trusted professional (like a teacher or youth worker).

How to apply:

  • Apply online
  • Download a paper form
  • Or text T4Y, your name, house number and postcode to 07984 445476 to get a form by post
