Funding Opportunity for Young Changemakers: Alec Dickson Trust Grants Now Open

The Alec Dickson Trust is now accepting applications for grants of up to £500 to support youth-led volunteering and community service projects across the UK. These grants empower young people (aged 30 and under) to make a difference in their communities.


What Kind of Projects Are Funded?

  • Projects that encourage youth volunteering, especially those involving many volunteers and fostering long-term engagement.
  • Initiatives with a positive impact on disadvantaged individuals or communities, tackling a specific need.
  • Innovative ideas – for example, using technology, social media, or creative approaches to address social challenges.

Who Can Apply?

  • Young people aged 30 or under.
  • Projects must be UK-based and led by young volunteers.
  • Applicants must provide a referee who knows them professionally and is not involved in the project.

Deadline for applications: 2 July 2025.
