Help Shape the Future of Heart Health in East Riding’s Coastal Communities
We’re working in partnership with the ICB (Integrated Care Board) to better understand the needs of our communities around cardiovascular disease (CVD) one of the leading causes of illness and premature death in the UK
Why are we doing this?
People living in East Riding’s coastal areas are at higher risk of CVD, and there are growing concerns around how to reach, support, and monitor these communities more effectively. By listening to local people and gathering real-life insights, we can help shape how health services are delivered—making them more relevant, accessible, and preventative.
This is about community-led conversations. We want to know:
- What do people understand about cardiovascular health?
- What barriers exist to accessing support or screening?
- What would help people to take action or feel more informed?

We’ve launched a short online survey to gather feedback from across the community. Whether you live, work, or volunteer in a coastal area, your voice matters.
