VCSE

We're excited to share a fantastic opportunity for anyone who would benefit from improving their digital skills!

The application process is managed by the Adult Learning team, who will get in touch with learners to check their eligibility. Priority will be given to families with school-aged children, older people, individuals with disabilities, and care leavers aged 18 and over.

Once enrolled, learners will be supported to take part in a digital skills course that suits their needs. After completing the course, they’ll receive a free digital device that matches their learning goals—along with internet access to help them get connected.

For example, someone looking to improve their skills to find work may complete a basic digital course and receive a laptop with a Mi-Fi dongle. Those who receive a smartphone or tablet will be directed to their local East Riding library to pick up a free data SIM.

Adult Learning will continue to support learners beyond the course, offering access to extra resources like workshops, one-to-one support, and online learning tools to help everyone keep building confidence and skills.
