Safeguarding update - Person in a position of Trust (PIPOT) Policy

East Riding Safeguarding Adults Board (ERSAB) has updated this Policy which replaces the 'Procedure for managing allegations made against People in a Position of Trust' (PiPoT) 2017.

The person in a position of trust policy builds upon existing relevant statutory provisions for sharing information and responding to concerns about a person in a position of trust.

Alongside the policy there are helpful supplementary documents, which are in the form of a flowchart, one-minute guide, support document and reporting form

There is a Multiagency referral and record keeping form which should can be use in accordance with the ERSAB Person in a Position of Trust (PIPOT) policy.
