East Riding VCSE Network latest update

East Riding VCSE Network Members meet each month to discuss challenges and opportunities within the Voluntary Sector. Sharing insight that can inform change via collaborative working. 

Virtual meetings are held on the last Wednesday of each month at 11am to discuss topics that matter to the members. At least once a year the network meets in person.

At the last meeting, on 31 January over Zoom, members heard a presentation followed by Q&As from guests:

• Robert Sager  - Local Growth Programme Manager,  East Riding of Yorkshire Council 
  Robert spoke about the the devolution deal, the consultation process  and the next steps leading to the creation of a Mayoral Combined Authority (MCA).  
• Sian Broughton, CEO,  Community VISION
  Sian talked about the merger of VANL and ERVAS to create the new charity - Community VISION CIO, the background to this move and future plans plans for the organisation.
