SUEZ Communities Fund – Final 2025 Round Now Open
The SUEZ Communities Fund is offering grants of up to £50,000 to not-for-profit organisations across England for capital improvement projects that enhance community facilities, historic sites, and recreational spaces.
What Can Be Funded?
The fund supports projects that improve public amenities for community use, such as:
- Village hall improvements
- Community centres
- Public playgrounds
- Sports fields and facilities
- Nature reserves and conservation sites
- Village greens and country parks
- Cycle paths
- Historic buildings, structures, or sites
Important note: Public amenities must be accessible to the public for at least four evenings a week, two days a week, or 104 days per year.
Improvements to religious buildings will only be considered if they are Grade I listed.
Projects for other historic buildings or sites must be Grade I, II, II* or hold significant heritage status (e.g., Scheduled Ancient Monument).
Application Process
This is a two-stage process:
Submit an online Expression of Interest and then If successful, submit a full application
There are usually four rounds per year
Key Deadline: 11 February 2026 (midnight)
