GSK IMPACT Awards 2026 Accepting UK Applications
The GSK IMPACT Awards are now open for applications for their 2026 round. Funded by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and managed in partnership with The King’s Fund, the awards celebrate excellence in community-based health and wellbeing initiatives across the UK.
Since 1997, these prestigious awards have recognised charities making a significant impact on community health. The programme supports long-standing organisations and aims to build their capacity and sustainability.
What’s on Offer?
- Up to ten winning charities will each receive £40,000 in unrestricted funding, with the overall winner receiving an extra £10,000.
- Up to five runners-up will receive £4,000 in unrestricted funding.
- Award winners will be offered training and development support valued at an average of £13,500 per organisation.
- Winners may also receive pro bono support from GSK, including 12 months of legal assistance.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply, charities must:
- Be registered in the UK and have existed for a minimum of three years by 20 August 2025.
- Have an annual income between £150,000 and £3 million, based on the latest accounts.
- Operate independently from any national umbrella organisation.
- Work to address community health needs in the UK – either geographically or within a specific community of interest.
- Demonstrate a strong track record in tackling community health issues.
The GSK IMPACT Awards do not fund new projects; rather, they aim to reward existing, high-performing initiatives with the freedom to use the award funding where it is most needed.
