Co-op’s Annual Local Community Fund Closes 6th July 2025
The Co-op Local Community Fund has launched a new round of funding to support local not-for-profit organisations working to create stronger, healthier, and more sustainable communities across the UK.
Funding Available
- Total fund: £5 million nationwide
- Each local community: £6,000 shared between three causes
- Minimum grant per project: £1,000
Funding Focus Areas
The fund supports projects that:
- Increase access to food
- Create opportunities for young people
- Improve mental wellbeing
- Promote community cohesion
- Build sustainable futures
- Celebrate diversity and inclusion
Eligibility Requirements
- UK or Isle of Man-based not-for-profit organisation
- Own bank account
- Operate in your local community
- One applicant must have a Co-op membership number (join via website or app if needed)
Project Timeline
- Successful projects included in the programme: 19 October 2025 to 17 October 2026
- Funding received: November 2026
- Projects must be delivered or active after November 2026
