Hull City Council Public Health and East Riding of Yorkshire Council Public Health are hosting a joint workshop on sexual health specifically for inclusion groups. This in-person event will take place on 5th June at 10:30 am and is aimed at improving sexual health services and outcomes for some of our most vulnerable communities.

This workshop will provide a platform for collaborative discussions about the current state of sexual health provisions, identify any unmet needs, and explore opportunities to strengthen the system. The format will include roundtable discussions, where participants can share insights, good practices, and ideas for both short-term and long-term actions that can make a real difference.

We are particularly keen to engage organisations supporting people from Inclusion Health Groups in the East Riding to ensure that our discussions are as balanced as possible between the two local authorities. Targeted focus areas for this session include:

  • Migrant Communities
  • Gypsy/Traveller Communities
  • Sex Workers
  • Homeless People

This is a great opportunity to contribute to shaping future services, share your expertise, and help ensure that sexual health services are equitable and accessible to all.

To be included in the invite and to confirm your attendance, please contact paul.storey@eastriding.gov.uk.

The workshop will be held in Hull, with the exact venue to be confirmed closer to the date.

We look forward to working together to drive positive change!
