Positive Action Grants live

£40k worth of funding available to organisations providing recreational and educational leisure-time activities for young people aged 11 to 19 and those with learning difficulties or disabilities aged 20 to 24 across the East Riding of Yorkshire area.

There are two bands available:

1. Band A Award: For established youth/sport organisations to continue delivering a youth project/club (up to £2,500k per award)
2. Band B Award: For youth/sport organisations to provide emotional well-being support for young people (up to £5,000k per award)

Registration Process 

For Youth organisations

Please contact Gareth Meyrick, Smile Community Development gm@heysmilefoundation.org. Gareth will talk you through the process which will involve applicants registering on Beecan -  Smile's funding and document storage site. 

This needs to be completed by 3 February 2025. 

For Sports organisations

Applicants from sport projects are required to be registered as an ERCAS (East Riding Club

Accreditation Scheme) organisation through the council’s Sports, Play & Arts (ERYC); this

needs to be completed by 3 February 2025.
