E-Learning: The Armed Forces Covenant and Covenant Duty explained – Health

Warwickshire County Council have developed a range of FREE e-learning modules on the Armed Forces Covenant and Covenant Duty - for everyone to access. This is the first of a series of three specifically focusing on the Covenant Duty and the three areas that come under the Duty: healthcare, housing and education.

Who this e-learning is for?

This e-learning is for anyone working within a NHS/LA or other organisation across the UK who needs to understand what the Armed Forces Covenant Duty is and how it applies within healthcare. It is also applicable to those involved in the commissioning/delivery of health services.

In terms of roles, this e-learning is appropriate for those involved in senior roles such as leadership, policy making, decision making, public health, commissioning, strategy, service re-design as well as programme and operational management of the organisation.
