Blog: Why reading guidance notes before applying for funding is a must

After studying why recent funding applications coming through recently were unsuccessful,  the Grants team realised that there were three key reasons for this: Applications:

1. Did not fit with their general eligibility criteria
2. Did not fit with criteria specified in the fund’s Guidance notes
3. Did not have the correct supporting documents.
   

So to help future applicants improve their chance of successfully receiving funding,  they've created a new set of guidance notes and tips. This is an excellent resource that can be applied to any funding you're applying for from any funder. Read the blog and guidance notes  here.
