VCSE

A programme of free on-line sessions  available to the VCSE sector for Safeguarding Adults Week 20 – 24 November 2023.

Partners from the Hull and East Riding Safeguarding Adults Boards have come together and developed a programme of learning events and interactive session to support this years Safeguarding Adults week and the Ann Craft Trust.

Spurred on by the success of Safeguarding Adults Week 2022 the safeguarding partners have worked to extend the range of topics being covered this year. While a number of the sessions are open only to professionals working in the safeguarding sector, some sessions are also open to the public.

The events cover topics such as Transitions and Suicide, Safeguarding Vulnerable Dependent Drinkers, Learning from Domestic Homicide Reviews and Equalities in Adult Social Care. The sessions have been designed to stimulate discussion, spark innovation and share best practice. Each session will be delivered by inspirational and motivational speakers, all of whom are experts in their field.

All the agencies involved will be sharing information across their social media channels and website in the run up to Safeguarding week and throughout the week. To follow along look for the hashtag #safeguardingadultsweek2023.

The full programme of events is open for viewing and booking via Eventbrite and early registration is recommended to avoid disappointment. You can view the full programme by clicking below:
