Key Information

During the Covid-19 pandemic, a new type of volunteer emerged – agile volunteers seeking impactful, time-sensitive roles which have a big impact on their community and fit around their work and home life.

We’re keen to keep the momentum alive and are researching how we can offer new, ‘bitesize’ volunteering opportunities. These roles might take the form of one off events such as beach cleans, event stewarding or a local family fun day. The sky's the limit! We'll advertise these roles on a new volunteering website, which will be easy to use for partners and prospective volunteers.

Next Steps:

We're working to offer exceptional training for our agile volunteers, which will be transferrable between partner organisations - saving you time and preventing you from having to undertake training courses for each organisation you're attached too. Once you've completed your training, you'll be given a Volunteer Passport which will allow you to move seamlessly between charities and voluntary organisations.

Contact Us:

We’re keen to hear from any partners who want to come on this journey with us, or volunteers who are keen to trial out the new system. If you're interested in working with us on the project, please contact us

Please share your own volunteer journey on social media using #VolunteerYourWay and #proudtobeavolunteer
