Your support is needed to map what data the VCSE Sector collects across the East Riding of Yorkshire
As a sector, we collect and process important data; not just numbers in spreadsheets for reporting but vital insight is gathered from our interactions with our people and our communities by our staff and volunteers.
Across the East Riding, the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector holds a wealth of data and knowledge but the challenge is understanding where that data and knowledge exists, and what additional support is needed to collect, process and share this data.
The VCSE Collaborative, which represents the Sector as part of the Humber and North Yorkshire (HNY) Health and Care Partnership (HCP), has created a short survey to gain a better understanding of what data is collected and how it is processed and used by the VCSE Sector. They are asking all VCSE sector organisations to complete this short survey, which takes around 10 minutes.
It’s important that the Humber and North Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership make informed decisions about health and care services based on a range of information, including intelligence from the VCSE Sector. Our input is crucial as we have a wealth of knowledge about the lived-experiences and challenges of our people and our communities. This is also an opportunity for your organisation to let the VCSE Collaborative know where additional support is needed to enable greater data collection and sharing.
