Free Online Interactive Basic / Intro to Youth Work Course

Training for youth workers, improve skills working with young people - valuable professional development opportunity for volunteers and paid workers

If you can answer YES to these questions, we would be delighted to hear from you:

• Keen to gain more knowledge about working with young people?

• Live in the East Riding of Yorkshire and aged 16 years or over?

• Have access to a computer / laptop and can obtain a Gmail account?

• Can commit to 1.5 hours per week for 8 weeks?

COURSE DETAILS

10 free places available on each of the following:

Group 1: Monday Mornings | 11am - 12.30pm (starting on 29th March 2021)

Group 2: Wednesday Afternoons | 3pm - 4.30pm (starting on 31st March 2021)

Group 3: Thursday Evenings | 6pm - 7.30pm (starting on 1st April 2021)

Introduction to Youth Work | Theory of Youth Work | Safeguarding, Group Work

Engaging & Communicating | Work Based Practice | Reflective Practice

Working with Challenging Behaviour in Youth Work Settings

Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Please note places are very limited and we expect a high demand for these courses. Only apply for the course if you are willing to see it through to week 8. Those not completing the course without good reason will be charged £25 administration fee.
