Funded by a donation from The Sir James Reckitt Charity, Hull CVS have launched a small grant scheme aimed at small voluntary groups in the City of Hull.
Potential award: up to £200
This fund is targeted at grassroots activity that is supporting the most isolated people living in the community during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The fund will cover costs associated with activity that aims to alleviate some of the added vulnerability faced by people in communities. This may include:
• Initiatives to help people remain safely connected to the outside world.
• Communications costs including telephone, post and leaflets.

Description: The Hygine grant is focused on personal hygiene dignity, supporting residents/patients in facilities, who are struggling and unable to provide their own toiletries either through lack of funds or access to family support. Description: This grant is designed to support groups that typically would be holding summer holiday activities to ensure children are provided with a hot meal. If social distancing is relaxed before school holidays, then standard (Transforming Communities Improving Lives (TCIL) criteria would apply. If social distancing hasn’t relaxed, the Asda Foundation will provide grants for groups to deliver provisions to children at home.
