Community Mental Health (CMH) Workshop 22 October 2021

Published at 3:06 pm Wed Sep 22nd, 2021

This workshop is intended to create an opportunity for VCSE Mental Health providers to work with mental health services and look at the new CMH transformation opportunities together.

Following a successful event in April 2021, where VCSE and Statutory mental health providers came together, there was a desire to hold something similar later in the year.

Therefore we are planning to spend some time on Friday 22nd October between 1pm – 3pm to discuss current priorities, opportunities and challenges through different perspectives from sectors coming together we can look at how to deliver against the priorities collectively.

The NHS Long Term Plan set out aspirations for a different approach to community mental health and across Humber, Coast and Vale there are numerous examples of work taking place across sectors. We want to build on this, sharing learning on what is working well and co-designing how we plan for the future.

This workshop will initially focus on three priorities related to the dedicated focus groups outlined in the CMH transformation:

  • Mental Health Rehabilitation
  • Adult Eating Disorders
  • Personality Disorders

Therefore we would welcome organisations from the VCSE sector from across Humber, Coast and Vale, that have an interest in supporting patients within these priority areas to register to attend the workshop using the link below:
